Features & Benefits

Standard strain relief provide strain relief required of all connectors that terminate at ends of cables, commonly referred to cable plugs or 06 style connectors. On MIL-DTL-38999 panel mount connectors such as /20, /21, /23 or /24, unless in high vibration enviornments, they are optional. In high vibration environments they are required on receptacles. The 90° option available to divert the cable when space is constrained.

Environmental Protection

These open strain reliefs do not provide any environmental protection (i.e. moisture, dust, water, etc.) and should only be used when the equipment is in a clean and dry environment, or inside a sealed box.
